The concept of open innovation has been difficult to implement. We steward a modified open innovation process aligning incentives across stakeholders in the innovation process who view our projects as an opportunity to transform the world we live in and maximize the potential of each one of these processes.

Technology Development

The inventor of the core technology STAYTEC™, worked on its development for 7+ years to a proof of concept. He then collaborated with the LivFul team and a network of subject matter experts.

Technology Development

This network included the manufacturer of our chosen active pharmaceutical ingredient IR3535® (from Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany), and service providers from around the world that played a critical role in accelerating commercialization and reducing the development cost.

Outcomes

Improvements produced a new innovation process that can extend life of a patent for 15 more years with global coverage.
